This is a question I get asked on a daily basis by dozens of sellers.
The first thing I ask is have you tried selling your house via an estate agent? As much as we all wish we didn’t have to deal with estate agents sometimes they can be the answer. In some areas despite the recession there is a demand for sensibly priced property and you may find a buyer who is looking for your type of property in your area.
But what happens if you’ve had the house on the market for some time? Estate agents lose interest very quickly in houses that don’t get viewings and don’t get offers.
They will insist you reduce the price.
But what if you can’t reduce further? What if you have a redemption penalty that on top of the agents fees and the legal fees means you can’t repay your mortgage by selling?
In most cases I can help. Fill in the short form below or call me on 01462 889316
